Courtney lived with her parents throughout the various stages of divorce until she was 7 years old. Jennifer, her younger sister also works as an advertising executive. She was a student at Menlo-Atherton High school located in Atherton California and graduated from Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley California in 1985. Also, she was a member with Ensemble Theater Company Mill Valley throughout her high school days.
